Fun and engaging.... for a limited time. March 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered 2 of these, one for my son and one to give away as a gift. My son is almost 2. He was very interested at first, and figured out how to use it quickly. Unfortunately the one I opened for him does not work in forward and reverse. It only worked in one direction out of the packaging, which was disappointing. I contacted the seller- no response. I contacated TOMY corp and they quickly replied to offer an exchange. At my expense I mailed it to them and I am waiting for the replacement. Meanwhile, I took the 2nd one out of the package - works both forward and reverse. But now my son is "over it". I would reccommend this for younger ages. Fun to watch and then as they get older they can figure it out.
Refrigirator Fun February 13, 2008 We got this toy for our 18 mo old son and it's been entertaining him for a almost a year - he hasn't tired of it yet. It's great with keeping him busy so that we can get other stuff done in the kitchen. He's really good at turning it on and off and putting the gears together now and taking off the ones that are jamming it. When his friends come over it's one of the toys that everyone fights over. br /br /I take it off the refrigerator once in a while and put it away for a month or so, it's always a great hit when it come back.
Can't Recommend this Product Enough January 10, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this product so much I purchased 3 more for gifts. My son was 2 when he got it and 6 months later it still holds his attention. He easily manipulates the gears and loves experimenting with all the combinations. It feeds his inner engineer quite well. I can almost cook a meal without interruption thanks to these gems on the fridge.
Fun for all ages January 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a gift for my 4 year old son. He and his 8 year old brother both enjoy playing with it. It keeps the 4 year old entertained while I'm cooking and it's addictive...the boys and their dad all flip the on switch anytime they pass by the refrigerator. I plan on ordering some of the other refrigerator toys made by this company. It would also be great for teachers to use on a filing cabinet or other metal object.
Great Gears January 19, 2007 For the money, the gears are great. The gears do wear out in the kids manually turn the gears the opposite way.
