My poor mother has been wanting a Galileo thermometer for the last ten years, easily. But we, her children, were firstly too unimaginative and secondly, too poor to get her one. Now that I had the money though, of course the only place that sold them was closed! This product waseverything I hoped it would be and my mother is delighted with it, through and through.

This is an interesting novelty piece. We purchased this one as a gift for someone who commented about how much he liked ours. I'm not sure how much one can say about a thermometer, but it works based on the laws of physics. Thus, it would make a nice gift for children in school as well.
